PAL Cheerleading Fall 2024 | Open to Boys & Girls | Grades 2-8     
 

The Fall Cheerleading program will emphasize teamwork and basic fitness training.   Our goal is to provide each athlete with an opportunity for personal achievement,

We will introduce a series of cheers and exercises in a relaxed, fun setting. Basic training, sportsmanship, cool stunts,
and maybe a dance routine.   Our Program Director and Coach is Gia Romeo, Salve Regina University Cheer Captain Alumni, a Coach at Gymnastics & Cheer Academy (GCA), and an Alumni of PAL Cheerleading. 

THE PLAN

We are hoping to develop two age-appropriate squads:
Bantam-Grades 2-4  |  Junior-Grades 5-8

Our season will begin Wednesday, August 21, 2024, and run through the end of October.  If PAL football teams make it to the playoffs,
we may continue cheering until the first week in November.

We cheer for one home football game a weekend.  Games are expected to be on a Saturday or Sunday, morning or afternoon. 

Open to Boys and Girls | Grades: 2-8 | Our Seasons include Fall and Winter. 

We cheer for PAL Football and Basketball programs.  Additionally, PAL will hold off-season clinics, focusing on fitness, stunts, and dance. 

We  lead our teams in the Memorial Day Parade,  cheer at the Westport Senior Center for the Super Bowl game with the Staples High Cheer squad, and perform for PAL night at the Paul Lane Stadium, Staples High School.

 The program emphasizes teamwork and fitness.  During the season we plan to develop two age-appropriate teams:

Practices can be once or twice a week.  We cheer for home games.
The games are expected to be Saturday or Sunday, morning or afternoon for Football.  The Basketball games will be announced.

Our Program President/Coach is Gia Romeo, a Salve Regina University Cheer Captain Alumni, a former Coach at Gymnastics & Cheer Academy (GCA), and a PAL Cheerleading Alumni.
