Spring 2026 Girls Travel Grades 5-8
IMPORTANT DATES
- Uniform Order Deadline: closed

Grade 7/8 from 2-3:30pm // Grade 5/6 from 3:30-5pm

- Practices begin: Week of March 23, 2026
- Season runs: Through early June
Open to girls in 5th-8th grades who reside in or attend school in Westport.
PAL welcomes new players into our program at all levels of playing ability. We are a no-cuts program—every player will be placed on a team.
Evaluations are mandatory to ensure balanced team placements based on each player's athleticism, stickwork, skill, game sense, and attitude (effort, hustle, focus, and coachability).
Travel lacrosse is built on teamwork and consistency. We recognize that many of our players are multi-sport athletes with diverse interests. However, accepting a roster spot on a travel team means committing to your teammates and coaches for the spring season. Consistent attendance at practices and games is essential for individual development and team success.

Evaluations - Mandatory
Dates & Times:
- Sunday, February 1 & 8 | 3:30-5:00 pm
Location: InSports, 29 Trefoil Drive, Trumbull, CT
Important Information:
- Players must be pre-registered to attend evaluations
- Arrive 15 minutes early to check in
- No walk-ins allowed
What to Bring:
- Stick, eye guard, mouthguard, and water bottle
- Numbered pinnie (email us if you need one)
Unable to Attend?
If your daughter cannot attend due to injury or illness, please contact us in advance at westportpalgirlslax@gmail.com.
7th - 8th Grade Girls Spring Travel
Evaluations - Mandatory

- Primarily weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) with occasional weekday games
Practice and game schedules will be finalized once field and time assignments are confirmed by Town Parks & Recreation.
Program Fee
- 5th Grade: $525 ($500 program fee + $25 town field use fee)
- 6th Grade: $525 ($500 program fee + $25 town field use fee)
All program fees include a customized reversible practice pinnie.

- One development practice led by Staples HS and PAL coaches at Ginny Parker Field (day TBA)
