Our 9th Year! | Open to Boys and Girls
Experience the thrill of youth Rugby with Westport PAL - where teamwork, and skill, come together on the field.
Whether you're new to the sport or already a fan, our dedicated coaches will help you master the fundamentals while having a blast with new friends.
Players will be coached by an elite staff featuring former collegiate stars, national players, and standout members of the
Staples High School's 2X CT State Championship Rugby team.
The PAL Rugby program emphasizes building a strong foundation. Players learn core rugby skills through engaging drills, matches, fostering confidence and game understanding in a safe environment.
Westport PAL Rugby programs compete across all grades and throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties.
The season will begin in April and continue through June
Flag - Touch Rugby | U8 & U10
Go!!! PAL Rugby
Our approach towards the flag program allows young athletes to develop the fundamentals.
In flag rugby, players will learn to run fast, make awesome passes, and work together with friends to score tries. It's super fun to dodge past defenders and rip their flags.
Through guided activities and modified match situations, players naturally progress in their abilities, creating an ideal environment for learning and fun!

U8 - 1st & 2nd Grades
Season Information

- Practices: 2 times per week - To Be Determined - Awaiting field assignment
- Practice Gear: Mouthguards, shorts, soccer-style cleats

Tackle Rugby | U12 & U14
PAL U14 Team - Won the 2024 CT State Rugby Tournament
Join our dynamic youth tackle rugby program where young athletes develop strength, agility, and unshakeable team spirit!
Our program teaches players the fundamentals , proper tackling technique, strategic gameplay, and essential teamwork skills. Our focus on safety first ensures that every athlete learns age-appropriate contact techniques and proper form.
