Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a safe and fun learning environment for athletes to participate and grow in the sport of Wrestling.

The Westport PAL Wrestling program is one of many youth sports groups under the Westport Police Athletic League (PAL). The Westport PAL is a non-profit organization with a long history of successful youth sports programs.

We seek to build character and help athletes develop strong relationships with coaches and peers.
We strive to build skill sets for both recreational and competitive athletes all while building friendships and remaining good members of our community.

Why wrestling:

  • helps build athleticism translatable to all sports
  • helps build confidence
  • helps instill discipline on and off the mat
  • provides a platform for athletes of all sizes and builds
  • teaches goal setting and accountability

Our teams are open to boys and girls in grades 3 - 8.   All experience levels from beginner to advanced are welcome.

The Westport PAL has served the community and providing youth sports for over 50 years.

Westport PAL Wrestling believes the keys to success are respect, personal responsibility, sportsmanship and FUN for all athletes.
