PAL Cheer - Winter Season
A Program Built on Fun & Personal Growth
We focus on creating a relaxed, encouraging environment where every athlete can achieve their personal best. Whether your child is brand new to cheerleading or ready to build on their skills, our program emphasizes fitness, achievement, and—most importantly—having fun!
The PAL program welcomes everyone! Make new friends, stay active during the winter months, and experience the joy of performing alongside your team.
No experience necessary—just bring your energy and enthusiasm!
Calling All Future Cheerleaders! Grades 2-8
Get ready to jump, cheer, and have a blast this winter! Our cheerleading program is all about having fun while learning awesome cheers, cool stunts, and building confidence with your squad.
What the Cheerleaders Will Learn:
- Fun cheers and chants
- Jumps and basic stunts
- Teamwork and sportsmanship
- How to support their team like a pro!
Two Age-Appropriate Squads:
- Junior Squad: Grades 2-4
- Senior Squad: Grades 5-8
Practice Details:
The season runs from mid-November and will continue into March 2026. No Practice: Dec. 29 and Jan. 19 - schools are closed.
Practices will be held weekly to help cheerleaders master their routines and build squad spirit.
Game Day Experience: Cheerleaders will perform at home basketball games throughout the season. Games are typically scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, beginning in December. The full schedule is being finalized and will be shared soon, giving families plenty of time to plan ahead!

Fee: $390. 00 | Includes Cheer Accessories
Cheer Accessories:
- One Bow: Navy for the Basketball regular season
The cheer-accessories will be yours to keep.
Items needed for practices and games
- White tennis or cheer sneakers
- White socks
- Navy short
- White tee shirt
- Sweatpants /Leggings | Long sleeve tops (cool days of fall)
- Water bottle
- No Jewelry
- Hair tie backs
Uniform Details
Game Day Uniform - $75 Deposit
Please bring a check payable to Westport PAL Cheerleading to uniform pick-up or the first practice. Your deposit will be held until the end of the season and returned when the uniform is returned in good condition.
Practice Uniform
To help our teams look cohesive and build squad spirit, we're introducing an official practice uniform!
- Navy blue shorts
- White t-shirt
- Team bow
Practice uniforms can be used for both fall and winter seasons.
What to Bring
Practice Days:
- White tennis shoes or sneakers
- Water bottle
- Practice uniform (navy shorts, white PAL t-shirt, and bow)
- Sweatpants or leggings for cooler days-
- Hair tied back
- No jewelry, please
Game Days:
- White Cheer sneakers or tennis shoes
- Game uniform
- White Cheer socks and bow. They can wear any white ankle socks. PAL will provide the bow.
- Water bottle
